We are ordinary citizens, aviators and tax payers, who are not affiliated with the Civil Air Patrol. We believe that the Civil Air Patrol, although private corporation, needs to be reformed and demilitarized by the ordinary USA citizens - aviators.
Brief history of the Civil Air Patrol: "Prior to World War II, an aviation writer by the name of Gill Robb Wilson was concerned with what was happening to German civil aviation. The winds of war were blowing and in 1938 Gill visited Germany to see for himself what was occurring. During his visit he discovered that the Nazi government was taking charge of all civil aviation and he feared that something similar might happen to our own civil aviation."
Sound familiar?
If Gill Robb Wilson would live today and was visiting USA, instead of the Nazi Germany, the above statement would be rewritten as follows: "The winds of war on terror were blowing and in 2003 Gill visited USA to see for himself what was occurring. During his visit he discovered that the USA government was taking charge of all civil aviation by engaging it in Christian War, Drug War, Emigration War and Para-Nazi Homeland Security War. He feared that something similar might happen to our own civil aviation."
Our initial mission:
1) Reform the Civil Air Patrol from Christian brainwashing by mandatory chaplains.
2) Reform the Civil Air Patrol from engaging itself in any morality wars like Christian War, Drug War, Emigration War and Para-Nazi Homeland Security War.
3) Reform the Civil Air Patrol to disengage itself from the US Air Force and instead to provide air support to Citizen Militia. Title 10, U.S.C., clearly affirms the existence of the citizen militia; it is little changed since the original Militia Act of 1792 (except for the addition in this century of recognition of the third type of militia, the Federally supported National Guard, in addition to the enrolled and unenrolled militia). It is our view, based on law (Article I, section 8 of the U.S. Constitution; Title 10, U.S. Code, Section 311(a)), court precedents, and legal and historical interpretation, that all able-bodied persons, explicitly those between the ages of 17 and 45, are members of the Federal unorganized militia.
